Galleria Rossana Orlandi presented the desk by Nacho Carbonell named Bush of Iron, a culminating piece for the Diversity collection presented during the past Milan Design Week last April. Together with this piece were presented small maquettes of the original 17 Diversity pieces.

On the 06 of May, Galerie BSL led by Beatrice Saint-Laurent will open it’s doors to the public for the first time. Nacho has joint forces with Beatrice and will present a one of Black Evolution Bench and a Lover’s Chair as well as Foam animals and new long legged bronze animals with heights reaching meters in height.

Nacho Carbonell will present a collection of twenty new prototype pieces throughout the 625m2 surface of his solo show at the Gianfranco Ferre building in Milan. The prototypes have been developped by experimental techniques and combine thorns, gravel, filaments, bushes, resins and many more materials and textures. Diversity results from the raw and brave freedom of creation of Nacho Carbonell. The exhibition’s sheer volume and unconventional form lead a new movement in the growing design field. The show takes place at via Pontaccio 21 in MIlan and will run from the 14th of April 2010 throughout the month and has been developped in collaboration with Galleria Rossana Orlandi and Gianfranco Ferre.

For the first time in his home country,  Nacho Carbonell will present a solo exhibition of his most significant work organized by Italian curator Paolo Maistri. The show’s historic venue, “La Sala Vinçon”, is an exhibition space with roots in the first half of the 20th century that has hosted an international roster of artists and designers since 1973.  Carbonell’s exhibition will run from March 4^th to April 3^rd, 2010, at La Sala Vinçon, Passeig de Gràcia, 96, Barcelona.

Brainport included The Lover’s chair for their Dutch Design Week exhibition called Happy Living. During the week more then 8000 people came by to visit.

Hot Kettle Porcelain and Hot Kettle Bronze were exhibited at the Affordable Art Fair with Particles Gallery in Amsterdam from Oct 28th – nov 1.
