EXEMPLARY: 150 Years of the MAK: from Arts & Crafts to Design

The MAK – Austrian Museum of Applied Arts / Contemporary Art in Vienna is celebrating its 150th anniversary.

This occasion will be celebrated with the jubilee exhibition “EXEMPLARY: 150 Years of the MAK: from Arts & Crafts to Design” 210-060 pdf curated by Tulga Beyerle and Thomas Geisler, an exhibition from the long-standing history of the MAK, as well as with contemporary design pioneers, where some of Nacho Carbonell’s projects will be exhibited.

. The two curators invited nine exemplary design-experts (Lidewij Edelkoort, Stefan Sagmeister, Fiona Raby & Tony Dunne, Konstantin Grcic, Hilarry

Cottam, Gesche Joost, Jan Boelen, Hans-Ulrich Obrist and Sabine Seymour) to discuss the future of design.
