Nacho has been invited to partecipate, as guest speaker, to the Shaping Light conference at the Howest Industrial Design Center in Kortrijk (Belgium) the 4th May 2011.

In April 2011 Nacho will present his new piece that is going to be located at the Varias College in Den Haag. It will be a 10m bench and two lamps that together will define one of the meeting areas of the school.

Nacho’s collection Luciferase will be presented by the BSL Galerie during the Pavillon des Arts & Design of Paris. The event starting the 30th March will end the 3rd April 2011.

During the Design Miami/Basel in November 2010, Nacho, in collaboration with the champagne company Dom Ruinart, presented three pieces of the Diversity Collection and realized in loco a texturized wall.

Contemporary design will be present in JUSTMAD2 thanks to a new section with the objective to promote the work of designers who evolve between the world of art and design. JUSTMAD DESIGN will introduce works of contemporary designers. The exhibition will last from the 17th until the 20th of February 2011.

Nacho will partecipate at the exhibition “Post Fossil” at the Museum Holon (Israel); there, he will present some of the Evolution Collection’s pieces and three “Hot Kettles”.

The curator of this exhibition, that will last until the 30th of April, is Lidewij Edelkoort.

Nacho is going to present his new collection of lamps at the BSL Galerie in Paris.The inspiring name of the collection is LUCIFERASE, therm referred to the ability of some animals and plants to emit light.
For the first time, Nacho will show evocative enlightened creations made of a variety of texturized resins.

Tenerife Design Festival (TDF) is an event aimed to design, which fuse the curret design trends with canarian identity features.

The 16th of october, Nacho Carbonell will direct a workshop “Pozo pinocha” at Glorieta de San Francisco.
